One of the prettier things I've made and SO delicious. These were also a lot more filling than I thought they were going to be, but should probably be paired with some oatmeal to meet those macros. Or some chia pudding to make it paleo.
I N G R E D I E N T S
Banana* 1
Nut Butter** 1T
Hemp Hearts 1t
Flax Seeds 1t
Pistachios 8
Goji Berries 1T
Dark Chocolate .25 square
Blueberries 6
Cinnamon 2 Pinches
*I like to use bananas that are more on the green side. there's already lots of natural sugars in the toppings so it might be too sweet if you use a riper one*
**I used an unsweetened almond hazelnut butter**
*** you can really use as much as you want/whatever you want for toppings, but I found this was a good amount. Too much and you just get a mess. These flavours also worked together.
D I R E C T I O N S
-Chop the pistachios, goji berries, and chocolate. set aside
-Slice the blueberries in half or into quarters depending on how large they are.
-Slice the banana lengthwise down the middle and lay them cut side up
-Drizzle nut butter (spread it a bit if you need to)
-Sprinkle the hemp hearts and flax seeds over the nut butter covered banana halves.
-Add the chopped goji berries. It might be easier to just place them than sprinkle.
-Add the chopped chocolate
-Add the blueberries
-Sprinkle with cinnamon
